Our World – The World to Come, 2020
Kien Denier and Siri Black at 16 Nicholson Street, Glasgow, January 2020
‚The exhibition ‘Our World – The World to Come’ combines artwork by Kien Denier and Siri Black. Each piece arises from a shared underlying framework supported by a meticulous research-based process. The individual retro-futuristic artworks speak together in polyphony, engaging us in a multi-faceted reflection on analogue and digital behaviour, dynamics of repetition, recurrence, progress, regression and failure. The installation unfolds based on associative, dream-like connections drawn between various technology-related phenomena.‘
